Forest beer 2023 - taste from the Altaussee forest
A beer like no other: every year, the Austrian Federal Forests create a very special forest beer together with the Kisbey brewery - brewed with ingredients directly from the local forest.
In 2023, these forest ingredients came from the Altaussee forest district. Fir and Rowan berries were used - two ingredients with a strong character that give the beer its unmistakable, natural flavor. The fine resinousness of the fir meets the fruity, tart aroma of the rowan berry - a real taste experience that brings the diversity and originality of the forest into the glass.
The forest beer is not only a tribute to the forest habitat, but also an example of how nature and craftsmanship come together in a special way.
